This is in many cases where we tend to fail miserably. We were so excited about the landing page and the product we forget that there is also a path that needs to be followed before it all comes together in a sale.

A very low percentage of visitors buy when they see your product or service for the first time. If you do a launch of course then you have already done the work upfront, but for most of us it will be what we do after the subscription that will clinch the sale.

Make sure you have a quality email follow up series and deliver value. At this stage just after a visitor has subscribed you want to build report and prove that your product or service will deliver the goods. This you do with your follow up email series.

For most your product or service will not have much credibility, no matter how good it is and how well the sales letter is written, you need to prove it through your follow up sequence as well. Do this well and you will be rewarded with the sale. Send them follow ups telling them that the earth would stand still if they don’t buy now and most will unsubscribe from your list faster than they subscribed.
