If you have never heard of a squeeze page before - it is simply a web page with two primary purposes:

To build your list of subscribers

To pre sell a product that you are promoting.
For starters, gone are the days of the one page web site with just a squeeze page. Google has done its crackdown and it is now up to our creative minds to please the search engine as well as the visitors to our site... and still achieve our primary purposes.
This is a overview of how to go about creating a squeeze page to suit your needs but also adhere to the rules of Google.
For a squeeze page to be successful lets start at the beginning:
Your squeeze page needs two elements:

Content

Links to relevant pages.
You should have one squeeze page and then about four more web pages containing relevant or similar content. The content does not need to be long, two hundred words or so will be fine.
You can find the content by using PLR articles or alternatively write your own content. You can also make use of articles from article sites but the drawback is that you will have to:

Include the bio box of the author.

Articles are duplicate content.

There is however a way around this problem.
To make your squeeze page user friendly and search engine friendly at the same time you should have the following site or folder structure.
The red arrows are normal links from one page to the next, the green arrows are links with the "no-follow" tag.
Each page is optimized for a specific keyword. You can find related keywords using your preferred keyword tool or take advantage of the great features of Keyword Elite.
The pages link to one another and each page is designed to send the visitor to your squeeze page.

Your squeeze page has two purposes:
In most cases you will have a squeeze page set up to sell an affiliate product so we will look at it from that point of view.
The squeeze page has four main sections:

At this moment it might seem a big mountain to climb but it is actually much easier than you think. All the content for your squeeze page has already been written. All you need to do is find the appropriate sections in the product sales page and rewrite them in your own words.
As an example we will create a squeeze page for a product that is marketed through Clickbank. The product is an information ebook on the profitable use of adwords.

I purchased Adwords Miracle some time ago and found it an excellent resource for tips and ideas to market using adwords. The advantage of owning the product which you intend to promote it always gives you a better understanding of the product itself and you are able to add your own experience with the product to your squeeze page.
Now that you have the sales page for Adwords Miracle open, read through the copy and select elements that you see as benefits of the product. For this tutorial I have used the following excerpts as examples. At the bottom of each example is a rewrite of the original copy based on the benefits found on the sales page.
This is where you need to become creative and let your mind go. Read the coopy you have selected a few times and allow your imagination to do the rest. Write down whatever comes to mind. Once you have all your notes written down start at the top and tidy up your writing. Next have a look at all the paragrapghs you wrote and place them in a easy to follow structure by telling a story with them as if you were explaining it to a friend. just keep on writing and rewriting until it sounds good to you.

For you to get subscribers you need to offer a product or service related to to the product you are promoting, and it must add value.
There are a few ways in which you can achieve this:

Write your own report or ebook on the subject.

Have a ghostwriter write a report or ebook.

Write a email series on the subject.

Offer a book or report that you have giveaway rights to.

The easiest of all is to make use of PLR products that you own.

Of course your own report would be the best as it will be unique and not available anywhere else.
For the purposes of this squeeze page I will use a product from a PLR package. You can change whatever you like if you have the PLR rights to a product. It is the most effective way to ensure you have your own look and feel for your bonus products. Convert all the links in the book to your own affiliate links and if you want to you can redesign the front cover to suit the look of product you are promoting.
