Product Resell Right, What Is In It For You

You can get product resell right all over the internet, and many products and sites advertise these resell rights.

 

You have just bought a product which you think is really nice and one of the reasons you bought it is because it had resell right. Great idea, or is it really?

Resell right means simply you can sell a product and keep all the money for yourself. Now this seems too good to be true when you read it for the first time.

When you started off or if you are just starting off in internet marketing you do not have anything to sell and in your over eager to make money like all the other people do on the net you have been reading in the sales pages you want your share of the cake. Must say it is a rather big cake. I think the icing is money green and you?

Anyway that is besides the point, you just downloaded your ebook and the sales website and eager to jump into the shallow water, or so you are made to believe at the time. Once in, you better be a good swimmer because you will soon discover that it is not only deep but contains a few hungry sharks as well.

Ok you should be all scared by now, thought of adding the Jaws theme music here, but that might have been a bit cheesy.

Well the good news is that you need not be scared, you need to be careful. Before buying a product that you would like to market yourself have a look around how many other sites are marketing the same product, and if you find sites giving it away as a bonus, don’t even consider marketing it you will be wasting your time and money.

Now there is nothing wrong with resell right to a product, and yes if you market it well you will make money. The main problem is that many products that come with a resell right have been around the block a couple of times.

Very few newly launched products come with resell rights, and the ones that do are in many cases not worth marketing at all. What you should look for is a relatively new and good product. They are around but you will mainly find them in packages with other products or on membership sites.

When you buy a package that contains a lot of products you can sell them separately or sell the entire package. This makes more logical sense than trying to sell products individually because the perceived value of a package is always more than any singe product you market.

Membership sites add a few products per month to their inventory and as a member you are then allowed to download these products with their sales sites and market them. You receive resell right to every product but you are in most cases not allowed to sell the resell right. You are not allowed to make up your own packages from these products, which to me is a minus. The best bet is to buy a package, which is relatively new and then resell the package as a whole.
Look for one where you will also have the right to resell the resell right. The perceived value to the customer is always higher then and you can make more sales using that strategy.
