Finding your Google adsense domain name part 2

First let’s start of finding our Google Adsense Site name. To find the correct name which is available we first have to do two things.

1. Do some keyword research
2. Find the domain name that is available.

We will first go to the overture keyword tool to see what pops up and then we will refine our search after that. I normally use Keyword Elite but for starters we will use free tools that are available to us at no charge.
Here are the results for gardening, herbs and health insurance.

 

Now that we have an idea of the amount of searches taking place we need to find a search term that has a low R/S. R/S simply is the searches divided by the amount of results. The lower the R/S the easier it will be to optimize for the keyword phrases and rank well in the search engines.

Open Google and type in the search term. On the right hand side you will see the amount of results Google returns for that search term. Take the search amount from overture and divide it into the returns and you have the R/S for the keyword phrase. You need to do this for every keyword phrase you would want to target. You can also use Good Keywords which is a free tool and does some of the work for you automatically. Here are the screenshot of some ideas we are pursuing.

You go about finding the R/S as follows:

Amount of results divided by the amount of searches

15800000 / 6909 = 2286

65400 / 2271 = 28

Now here is a low R/S we can have serious look at

2420000 / 4613 = 524

There are software packages available to do this for you automatically and the one I use and would recommend is Keyword Elite. I own four keyword packages and Keyword Elite is the best, with the most targeted results.
So I am not going to go through all the keywords one by one, but you get the idea of how to go about finding your phrase using free tools.

The next thing you would want to know is how profitable you ideas are going to be.

In overture you can go to the overture tool and find the overture bids for each phrase but you have to look for them one by one. These are the overture results and not Google results, but it will give you a reasonable indication of what is going on in the market.

Now let’s use Keyword Elite and have a look at the results.

Our ides have potential and you will notice the results returned by Keyword Elite. The results are more refined by Keyword Elite than in normal generic searches that is why the results will differ a little. In this example you can see the R/S as well as what advertisers are paying and how many clicks the keword generates.

The CPC is not what the advertisers are bidding but what they are actually paying for a click. This is a good indication of the potential income of the site over a period of time. Remember the internet is dynamic and changes all the time, and to me that is the most exiting thing and why I love it so much.

Every day is a new challenge, nothing is set in stone. Not all people like change but the dog is quite happy about the whole idea. Nice juicy bones are a real treat for her, and my nice juicy bone is a successful day. See not much difference between us and dogs.
