This is not what this site is about. This is about a successful adsense site that will make you residual income over a long period.

Let us start from the top.

What is adsense?

Adsense is Google adwords ads running on your site and when people click on an ad you get paid a percentage of the money paid by the advertiser.

What do you need?

1. To run adsense ads you have to own your own website or blog where you can place adsense ads on your pages.

2. You need an adsense account. To set up an account is easy and you can go to setting up your adsense account.

Adsense is becoming more and more apparent as a good generator of income. There are some website owners earning in excess of $20,000 per month from their sites.

There is however one little snag to making huge amounts of money with adsense, you need many visitors. This can be an enormous burden for anyone starting out with adsense. for a successful long term site you will need to put in some work, it does not happen instantaniously.

Adsense income is generated through clicks on ads on your webpage. Now there are two things to consider.

1. If people are immediately clicking on your adsense ads it means your content did not interest them.

2. This is all good because you got the click and got paid for it, the downside however is that the visitor will never return to your site.

So you have to find a balance between your content to get return visitors and adsense clicks.

You need to view adsense not just as money for clicks but an addition to your site adding value to your visitors experience, you want him to come back and click an ad again.

There are two ways in which people are currently generating traffic to their adsense sites, using generic search engines and PPC. The PPC system works like this, you will advertise on a PPC ad to get traffic at a low cost, your site is then optimized for more expensive keywords, meaning that a person clicking on the ad on your site will pay more than what you paid to get the visitor there.

This site is not about utilizing that idea, it is about generating traffic from search engines to your site and the visitors them click on your adsense ads.
