Need Resell Rights, Need Some New Products?

What is the use of resell rights and how can you use it to your full advantage.

Resell rights come in many forms and sizes.

Why are you given resell rights to a product?

First off, when you buy a product you will be sold the rights to resell that product from your own site and keep all the money. Now you have all seen those ads and you probably own a few by now as well.

You can also get products with resell rights from different membership sites who specialize in this type of business.

Owning resell rights to products will not guarantee you any form of success, sorry if I just burst your million dollar bubble, but that is the harsh truth.

People sell resell rights to products for one reason, and it is not about being really nice to you in any way whatsoever.

Tell me, why do you think when you buy certain products it comes with this great line, “You now have resell rights to this product and you may keep all the profits”?

The answer is simple, to create a second line of passive income for the owner/author from back end sales embedded in the product.

Go and have a look at the links and products advertised throughout the content of an e-book or other type of resell rights product, and you will easily see what I mean.

At the beginning of the book you will also see a legal notice that you are not allowed to change any content whatsoever without the authors written permission.

It is created with that idea in mind from the offset of the product creation process.

If you are buying a product for just the sake of getting the resell rights, think twice.

But yes, creating your own content is very time consuming, research, writing, re-writing, compiling all take up a lot of your time. And then of course how do you create a product if you know noting or very little about it?

Fortunately there is an answer to this ever present problem called Private Label Rights.

You receive complete authority over the material which in essence means that you can do with it what you want. This opens up a Pandora’s Box of opportunities from creating new products, resell rights products to email series, web pages, bonus giveaway products and so the list goes on. The hard work has already been done for you; all you need to do is just tweak and change here and there to suit your specific needs.


Some member sites will allow you to do some branding of the books you get through them but a lot of this branding will not bring you any traffic or sales as they will not relate in any way to the product you are selling.

It will contain branding like “Brought to you by ‘Your domain name’”
Preferred web hosting service ‘your affiliate link goes here’
And so on.

So if you are selling to a market say interested in dogs, why would they care where you host?

If however by the end of the book you described a related product and you wrote some good copy for it, how many clicks and sales do you think you will get?

Don’t get me wrong, when you are starting out in internet marketing having resell right products and affiliate products is the way to go.

Making resell rights successful for yourself takes a little bit of work.
You will in most cases receive a ready make website, emails ads and so on. The only problem with this is that every other person who has purchased the product is going to use exactly the same content in their advertising. So if you are email number two in anyone ’s inbox which is the same as the mail he read yesterday you have no chance of selling anything.

This is where the work comes in.

Use the resell rights material and site as you received as the basis for your advertising content. Rewrite the entire resell rights sales page and add your own unique angle to it.  Yes, rewrite the entire page if you want sales.

If you can, change the graphic of the site and the color so it will look totally different from the one you received.
Do the same with all your advertising no matter how good it looks, someone you are going to try to sell to will have seen it somewhere before.

However start working on your own product as soon as you can and read other peoples books to see how they embed their products throughout the package.

Learn from this and follow their example, and if you can, make it better. The bulk of the money lies in your own product.
